Düsseldorf boasts a thriving Japanese community of over 6,500 residents and professionals, ranking as the third-largest Japanese enclave in Europe, trailing only behind London and Paris.

As KittoKatsu, we take great pride in establishing our brand management and design agency within the vibrant cultural and culinary epicenter of Düsseldorf’s Japanese community, affectionately known as Japantown or Little Tokyo. Nestled in the heart of the city, this neighborhood offers a plethora of Japanese restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, and a treasure trove of attractions catering to the discerning Japan enthusiast.

In honor of our shared passion for this unique locale (reflected in our agency’s Japanese-inspired name), we’ve crafted a comprehensive map, showcasing the diversity of Little Tokyo and providing visitors with invaluable tips for a memorable experience.

Since its inception in 2017 the map has been adapted, remade, published as a special edition in what feels like countless ways. And we’re still thrilled by how well this idea has been received and loved. The most current version is being distributed by Visit Düsseldorf as their official guide to Little Tokyo.
