A new event series was launched in Düsseldorf in 2022 under the title „Die Neu-Deutschen ergreifen das Wort“ (The New Germans take the floor), placing post-migrant artists at the center. Separated into comedy battles and readings, the focus was to be on the stories of post-migrant experience in Germany.
KittoKatsu was commissioned with the naming and design of the event series. Despite the serious background, we did not want to take away the lightness of the naming and design or become too clichéd. The choice of name fell on Post/er Child -the English word for „figurehead“ and at the same time literally the „post“ child. Fittingly, the design expresses diversity and enrichment (of society) in the form of clear geometric shapes and radiant colors.
